Interface Summary

Interface	Description
LayerProvider	Provides persistence-related methods at a given layer of the application.
LayerService	Provides upper-layer code (such as MVC, GWT, and tests) with the MemberTypeAdditions they need to make to their source code in order to invoke persistence-related operations such as persist and find.

Class Summary

Class	Description
CoreLayerProvider	A built-in LayerAdapter, in other words one that ships with Spring Roo.
LayerAdapter	Convenience class for addon developers wishing to implement their own LayerProvider.
LayerServiceImpl	The LayerService implementation.
LayerTypeMatcher	A Matcher used for layering support; identifies layer components (services, repositories, etc) by the presence of a given tag, and sets each such component's CustomDataKeys.LAYER_TYPE tag to a list of the domain types managed by that component (as a List<JavaType>).
MemberTypeAdditions	The required additions to a given type in order to invoke a given application layer method, e.g.
MethodParameter	A parameter being passed to a layer method.
