This is a functional interface and can therefore be used as the assignment target for a lambda expression or method reference.

Acquires rotating GitHub tokens for one session.

Implementations return either a token with a positive remaining lifetime or an explicit cancellation. Production GitHub tokens typically last eight hours. Initial cancellation, callback errors, and invalid token responses reject session creation or resume instead of falling back to ambient authentication.
